ABOUT

Sam Tabasi is an Irish-Persian composer, producer, and filmmaker working between London and Brooklyn.
Best known as the songwriter and producer behind the indie-electronic project Glassio, Sam has spent the past decade building emotionally grounded records that balance melody, texture, and restraint. His work has amassed over 20 million streams worldwide, charted globally, and earned sync placements across film and television, with music featured on Netflix, HBO, Amazon Studios, Paramount+, and beyond. His compositions have also appeared at the Cannes Film Festival and on BBC Radio 3.
Alongside Glassio, Sam has collaborated with artists including Warner Case, Clubhouse, and Madge, and is recognized for his ability to help artists sharpen their identity without losing what makes them singular.
In 2024, Sam released his first ambient EP, After The Rave Rush, which became the 39th most-played album on KEXP’s Pacific Notions. His ambient and score work explores minimalism, repetition, and emotional suspension, and he has composed original music for several short films, including Swimming (2023), Different Faces (2024), and Love Lost (2024).
As a filmmaker, videographer, and photographer, Sam works closely with artists and creative teams to develop visuals that feel intimate, conceptual, and human. His visual work spans music videos, press imagery, and documentary-style storytelling, with clients including Sony Music Japan, Benno, and Handwritten Records, and collaborations with artists such as Senri Oe, Loren Berí, and Sea Glass.
Across music and film, Sam’s work is rooted in the same philosophy: limitation as a creative tool, instinct over polish, and the belief that an artist’s idiosyncrasies are not obstacles—but their strongest signal.
